Read "" take into consideration: take advantage of the power of reflective thinking in your organization ""

Consider: Harnessing the Power of Reflective ThinkingI always like to say that I am on the "Get Rich slow Plan", mainly because I need to feel well in the fact that I have not quite understood how to make $ 1 million in 30 days.  Well, you know what?  I just found that the downturn is a good thing!

At least, that is what I read to consider: take advantage of the power of thinking in your organization. I think that I have received this copy of review because publishers have somehow made the fact that I am an absolute sucker for any book written on the brain, the time, ideas and companies.  They should also know that I'm looking for an excuse slow.  If this sounds like you, then you, too, find could be an interesting book.

Daniel Patrick Forrester (@ DPForrester) drew together that read a really fascinating who is required to make you feel better take time of y and do nothing.  Overall, this is a book on not rushing, not multitasking step and you give permission to stop the armoury and descend for some time.  In fact, the more critical the situation, the more imperative it is to take the time to think about what actually happens, get clear about the context and develop a sense of understanding so you can respond as effectively as possible.

Review shows that acting too quickly can mean disaster

In a video introduction on the consider site Forrester explains how our hurried lifestyle, always, always in action leaves us enough time to really think about all the possibilities. In fact, only 10 for cent today went really think!  And if one considers that whenever we are interrupted, must be 11 minutes to go back to what we were doing, you can see how the productivity and the loss of time.

For some reason, we seem to think that, when situations risky or difficult, the best thing we can do is swing into action.  In fact, the opposite is true.  More issues in a situation, it is important to stage data and search for meaning.

Inside of the book.

Daniel Forrester of the interviewees who reflect a point of giving themselves without interruption before taking important steps.  One of the most surprising interview was Tio Hardiman.  History of the tio begins with gang violence in the South side of Chicago and ends with the creation of a "new mental model to watch violence."  Instead of react violently in situations of violence, Hardiman took the idea to add credible people to potentially violent situations so that they would break the violence before it reached a point of no return.

I also like the example on the opposite side apparently tracks - Wall Street.  It turns out that, although Wall Street is not as physically violent, its stressful situations imitate the level of perceived risk of violent streets.  In both cases, the failure to take the time to think about the inconvenience of your actions in the system can lead to the destruction.

Forrester interviews show how much better your solutions and results can be if you take just the time to process and resolve as well as participate in other people.

It is a super-current book because it in fact reference the oil spill BP Horizon of deep water and how Thad Allen took the time to really think through a problem instead of jumping to the first solution which came at the top.  Forrester also interviewed General Petraeus and shows how he planned the Iraq surge strategy bringing together experts insights from a variety of experts that included sociologists and Veterans of the Viet Nam.

Take into account is a must-see for all leaders

It is a relevant book for leaders in all aspects of our lives: CEOs, politicians, parents, and entrepreneurs.   As a leader, you must decide yourself back to obtain the results of this minute.  Remember the phrase "fools rush in" and give to the population of your team the freedom to stop and get the point of view before taking action.

Of course, you can not reveling in every circumstance. After all, deadlines and demands on your time Won't go away.  This is exactly where will come in handy-to consider you will help to establish priorities and choose exactly where and when you make and take the time to think about and…consider.
